  • Not tax-deductible

    Donations, Social Responsibility and Tax Benefits

    Donations to a CIC are not tax deductible in the same way as donations to a charity. 

    However, CICs can deduct donations made to charity as a "charge" when calculating their profit for corporation tax purposes. This means that while CICs cannot claim Gift Aid on donations, they can still benefit from tax relief on donations made to registered charities.

  • Your donation goes directly to Round the Isle CIC. The money is used to build the event and improve the overall experience and potential to raise money towards local charities, projects and causes. Round the Isle CIC is a non-profit company and all of our staff are unpaid volunteers. All profits are donated to excellent causes like the Southampton Hospitals Charity.

  • Yes, absolutely! We love volunteers and they help us make Round the Isle into the truly special event that it has become.
